Camembert – en mjuk och krämig ost med vitmögelyta. När den är ung har den en mjölkig och söt smak, och den vita ytan, orsakad av ädelmögel, är avsedd att ätas tillsammans med osten. Camembert passar bäst med ett lätt rödvin som Beaujolais, Chenin Blanc eller St. Emilion – eller med ett glas normandisk cider. Den är också utsökt lätt smält och serverad med röd bärsås som förrätt.
